Vaughn Body Arts offers the largest selection of fine jewelry made from implant grade titanium, implant grade steel, gold, glass and organic materials from manufacturers such as Anatometal, Industrial Strength, NeoMetal, Body Vision Los Angeles, Maya Jewelry, Diablo Organics, Gorilla Glass, and many more.
We offer the cleanest settings, sterilization with autoclaves that are tested weekly by a third party, and provide the best customer service to ensure your experience is unforgettable. All of our staff is certified annually for their Bloodborne Pathogen training. All of our piercers are members of The Association of Professional Piercers.
We are open everyday from 11am-8pm and take our last walk-ins by 7:30pm.
Most of our clients do not get basic jewelry, as we have a lot of really beautiful jewelry to choose from. We carry a huge selection of Anatometal (www.anatometal.com) and Body Vision Los Angeles (www.bodyvision.net) jewelry, so you will have a lot of options to choose from.
We also need to do a consultation with you about your individual anatomy. Lots of piercings require very specific anatomy to be able to be performed successfully, so we suggest visiting us and having that consultation to be sure we can do the piercing you want on your body. We can pierce you the same day as your consultation.
Be sure to bring the appropriate ID's and/or documentation with you, we cannot pierce you without them!
Our ID requirements if you are of age (18+):
- State/Government issued photo ID (driver’s license, identification card, passport)
If you are underage:
- State/Government issued photo ID from legal guardian and minor
- Last names and addresses must match. If they do not, please bring a copy of the minors birth certificate as well
- If the minors legal guardian is somebody other than their mother or father, please bring notarized or court paperwork proving guardianship.
We do not pierce anything besides earlobes on children under 15.
We do not offer genital, nipple, surface piercings, or large gauge piercings to clients under 18, even with parental consent.
We love piercing children's earlobes, but only when they're old enough to talk with us and express that they want the piercing and understand how to take proper care of a new piercing.
Thank you again for considering us for your piercing needs! We hope to see you soon!
Here at Vaughn Body Arts, our clients safety and the cleanliness of the piercing services we provide are top priority.
We always sterilize all jewelry, instruments, single use needles and any other items we use for your piercing right in front of you just prior to your piercing, utilizing sterilizers that are made for processing hollow items (such as jewelry, needles, etc.). Not all sterilizers can process hollow items.
Here’s a photo of a sterilizer commonly used in a lot of studios, which DOES NOT sterilize hollow items.
We also have a test strip called a class 5 integrator that runs with every sterilization cycle. These integrators monitor for temperature, pressure and exposure time. They provide a white bar that climbs black into either a “fail” or “pass” section on the strip and we show that to you before we pierce you, so you know everything sterilized properly.
In addition, we also do biological spore testing on both of our sterilizers on a weekly basis. The spores strips are ran through our sterilizers, then they are sent to Mesa Labs (formerly North Bay Bioscience) where their laboratory tests the spore strips to ensure our sterilizers are working properly.
Whether you get pierced by us or not, we just want you to be pierced safely, so here is a checklist provided by the Association of Professional Piercers (www.safepiercing.org) to help you find a safe piercing studio and a qualified piercer:
● ask to see their autoclave (sterilizer)
● ask to see recent spore test results, they should say “pass”.
● does the piercer provide aftercare guidelines?
● is the studio well-kept and clean?
● does the studio have a license to operate?
● check portfolios: are the piercings healthy and well placed?
● do they use only internally threaded or threadless jewelry for initial piercing?

Hey there! My name is Shay, and I'm the piercing apprentice at Vaughn Body Arts. I absolutely love helping every client find that special piece of jewelry that best fits their personal aesthetic and lifestyle.
One of my favorite things to do is help clients create a "curated" look. If you are not sure what piece of jewelry will look best in your new piercing, or your existing collection, I'm thrilled to help you figure out exactly what it is that you're looking for. I'm also happy to help explain aftercare, talk you through the pre-piercing jitters, and hold your hand if you need that extra boost.
Before working at Vaughn Body Arts I was a longtime client. I sent friends and family here for any piercing needs, so working here has been a dream come true.
I've been an associate member of The APP since 2017, and I'm always excited to further my education for this industry.
